Exam Testing

The Assessment Center provides a quiet space for students to take their midterm or final exams upon instructor request and free of charge. This service is available to students who might have missed an exam date, are taking a hybrid/online class but are required to test in person, and/or have reasonable accommodations.

We ask faculty to complete an Exam Request form for each student. The request form is included with the testing materials and delivered in an interoffice envelope to the EMSS front desk (Financial Aid & Admissions), and will then be securely stored by Assessment Center staff. Once testing is complete, tests are immediately and securely delivered to the Academics Office where they are logged in and date stamped.

The Assessment Center does accept walk-ins during business hours. However, due to limited time and spacing, we strongly encourage students to schedule a testing appointment ahead of time. Students are responsible for setting up a testing appointment with Assessment Center staff and can do so via the following Bookings Link or calling 505.925.8569. Walk-ins will not be accepted past 3 p.m.

Students must

  • Be referred to the Assessment Center by their instructor for exam testing
  • Bring a picture ID for identification
  • Walk-In/schedule their test session with enough time to finish their exam before end of day. Partially completed tests will be turned in as a finished exam

Students must be referred to the Assessment Center by their instructor for exam testing. Testing appointments may be scheduled via this Bookings Link or by calling the Assessment Center at 505.925.8569.
