Peer Mentor Program
The Peer Mentor Program (PMP), formerly the Peer Educator Program, is a student-led program that supports freshmen students in their transition to college at UNM-Valencia.
Mentees who participate in the Peer Mentor Program will receive the following benefits:
- Connections with your peers
- Individualized support, guidance, & encouragement
- Referrals to campus and community resources
- Social and cultural events
Mentees are expected to:
- Attend our welcome event in September
- Seek support from a Peer Mentor throughout their time in the program
- Attend at least one Career Services Workshop
