If you are interested in creating a lasting legacy, establishing a named scholarship at UNM-Valencia is a beautiful way to do so while giving back to Valencia County in perpetuity. Donors interested in creating a named scholarship have the option of matching their gift with Federal funds, essentially doubling their gift and the amount of their named scholarship. These funds are then invested in our UNM-Valencia Endowment which is managed by the UNM Foundation. Each year 50% of the earnings are spent to provide the funding for the named scholarships at our campus. Named scholarships can be established with a gift of $5,000 or more. If you would like to contribute to a specific scholarship fund or establish a new scholarship fund, please contact us at 505.925.8550.
*Annual Scholarship Award
*The exact amounts of the scholarships awarded each year are market dependent, but historically the above amounts have been awarded.

The Annual Fund is designed to support the UNM-Valencia Campus Development Board's fundraising efforts and serves as a general account for any donations. Any gift made to the Annual Fund will be used to support the greatest need of the campus.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. We encourage you to use the link below to see if your organization will match your gift.
The Endowment funds play an important role in improving and sustaining high quality programs, infrastructure, student scholarships and faculty development. Funds are invested with the UNM Foundation and interest earned can be spent on programs and services that support UNM-Valencia and our students for years to come. Your gift to the Endowment Fund is eligible for a federal 1-to-1 match under the current Title V Strengthening Hispanic Serving Institutions award. The federal match will increase the funds' value at no additional cost to you.
The Emergency Loan Program provides small emergency student loans that will keep students enrolled in their degree program. Donations will be held as collateral for the loan program.
The Acquisition Fund allows the library to purchase items such as books, journals, magazines and other library resources. Your financial support is sincerely appreciated!
