PASOS Resource Center
The Resource Center is an on-campus center that serves as a “one-stop” for all non-academic needs of UNM-Valencia students.
The Resource Center houses services and programs such as:
- College Navigation & Support
- Resource Referrals
- Counseling Referrals
- Peer Mentor Program
- ILEAD Program
- Campus Food Pantry
- Kitchen & Lounge Use
- Career Services
Vision
The PASOS Resource Center (PRC) encourages and strengthens students as they take pasos (meaning steps in Spanish) toward their educational and career goals. It upholds values of equity, access, and inclusion, and promotes self-advocacy and persistence toward completion and lifelong success.
Mission
The (PRC) mission is to remove barriers to academic success through multiple strategies including a safe space with student-informed programming and services. It provides student-centered services to meet non-academic needs, such as food insecurity, and social/emotional support. It offers a welcoming environment to the diverse student population with friendly and sincere guidance that supports and helps students navigate the balance of college and life.
Hours of Service:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location:
Visit the PASOS Resource Center located in the Learning Resource Center Building. Enter via the Learning Commons directly across from the STEM Center.
