ILEAD Program
The mission of the Integrating Lived Experiences with Academic Dreams (ILEAD) program is to provide holistic, individualized support for students who have strayed off their educational path by helping them re-enroll and re-align their academic and professional goals.
The ILEAD program services include one-on-one assistance with re-admission, class registration, degree-planning, financial aid/scholarship applications, and career services. Additionally, students will receive specialized coaching and ongoing support from peers and the ILEAD Student Success Specialist.
All ILEAD students must complete the following program requirements upon re-admission to UNM-Valencia:
- Meet with ILEAD Student Success Specialist prior to semester
- Attend the Re-Entry Bridge seminar
- Meet with Career Services Manager
The Re-Entry Bridge seminar is a one day program for ILEAD students to ease them back into college life, while gaining strategies for balancing personal and professional responsibilities and addressing prior barriers to academic success.
