Soup-R Bowl XII: February 2, 2020
Over the last 12 years, UNM-Valencia and Tomé Gallery have partnered together to create scholarships for students studying in the arts. This homegrown effort has grown tremendously over the years, serving almost 400 people last year and raising nearly $40,000 since its inception. The Soup-R Bowl has become a community favorite.
The 11th Annual Gala: March 7, 2020
The Gala is our campus’s largest scholarship fundraiser. This year’s “Roaring ’20s” themed evening is scheduled for March 7, 2020, at Isleta Resort & Casino.
This fall, 84 students were awarded named scholarships thanks to our generous sponsors. Sponsoring the Gala helps change students’ lives through scholarships, as can be seen from these 2019/2020 recipients:

We need your help to reach our sponsorship goal of $80,000 so that we can award 92 named scholarships in academic year 2020/2021.
How can you help support scholarships?
- Donate gift baskets, gift certificates, event packages, original pieces of art, jewelry, and more.
- Purchase individual tickets at $50 each.

Proceeds from this event are matched 1-to-1 with funds from the U.S. Department of Education and are utilized to provide student scholarships in perpetuity.
