UNM-Valencia Faculty Named Emerging New Professional
Congratulations to Melinda Schwartz, UNM-Valencia division chair for Business and Industrial Technologies and Lecturer in Career Technical Education, who was named Emerging New Professional by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) at their recent national conference in Nashville, Tennessee in December. Making big strides in CTE education, Melinda is working to establish Construction, Welding and soon Electrical, HVACR and Plumbing Trades on an ongoing basis at the UNM-Valencia WTC.
