After you apply

Application Review

Completed applications are reviewed using the Nursing Program’s published selection criteria. Applicants are ranked based on their HESI exam score, prerequisite GPA, science GPA, healthcare certification, veteran status, UNM-Valencia credits and Valencia County residency.

If you are accepted

You will be notified by email and official letter and receive next steps, including remaining prerequisites, compliance requirements and onboarding.

If you are not selected

You may apply again in a future cycle. Review the selection criteria to identify areas you may be able to strengthen before reapplying.
