UNM-Valencia and PNM launch first-ever Power Pros pre-apprenticeship program
High school students from Belen High School and Infinity High School recently earned industry-recognized certificates and a seven-piece professional starter tool kit through an innovative, first-of-its-kind PNM Power Pros pre-apprenticeship program offered by UNM-Valencia.

The program reflects a collaborative effort to prepare students for technical careers in the energy industry. Participants gained hands-on experience and foundational skills designed to support entry into apprenticeship and workforce pathways.
Cristina, the first female participant in the cohort, shared her experience in the program and reflected on the impact of the training. Her video interview is available on UNM-Valencia social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
