Duncan-Teller receives national biology teachers award

UNM-Valencia faculty member Tammi Duncan-Teller will receive the 2025 Two-Year College Biology Teacher Award from the National Association of Biology Teachers.

The Pre-Engineering degree provides the first two years of study for a student who plans to transfer to UNM-Main Campus or other 4-year institutions to pursue a bachelor's degree in Engineering. A degree in Pre-Engineering leads to further study in the areas of Biological, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering. The degree consists of courses selected from the UNM core curriculum, with an emphasis on mathematics and science, and engineering electives designed to be tailored to your future, more specific field of engineering. (Students should be aware that all courses may not transfer to a BS program.)
