The project manager is essential to a construction project’s success, overseeing planning, organizing, estimating, and scheduling from start to finish. For residential, commercial, industrial, or civil projects, they coordinate all phases, applying project management skills to keep construction on time and within budget. Effective managers have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the building process, and risk management abilities. They may also handle financial challenges, hire workers, and monitor daily site activities. The methodology and techniques covered in the course align with Project Management Institute’s Standards and can help prepare participants for CAPM Certification. OSHA certification is preferred but not required to take this course. Upon successful completion of the program participants will receive an industry recognized NCCER certification.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is the most widely used financial accounting tool and a great solution for many different types of business, both large and small. QBO is packed with cloud-based features that will give businesses more ways to save time, reduce errors and streamline your business. This 6-hour course will cover topics such as subscription levels, the setting up of your QBO company file, creating the foundation of your company file with the chart of accounts and product/service lists, connecting a bank account to the bank feed, reviewing dashboard and navigation bars, understanding the customer and vendor centers, and creating transactions. Online access and a QBO Test Drive company file will be provided.
