Biography

My name is Elizabeth Raaff and I’m a proud New Mexico native, first generation graduate, and UNM Alumni. I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Psychology from The University of New Mexico, and my A.A. in Secondary Education from University of New Mexico Valencia campus. I currently work as a Student Success Specialist for the TRIO Student Support Services program at UNM-Valencia. In this role, I support first-generation, low-income, and disabled students across all cohorts, helping them navigate college, build confidence, and reach their goals. My own experiences have shaped my commitment to equity and access in education, and I’m proud to be part of a place that helps students thrive.
