UNM Staff, Faculty and Students can authenticate to the Lobo Wi-Fi network by authenticating with their UNM NetID and password. More information available at Connecting to Lobo Wi-Fi.
Guests without a UNM NetID can get connected by joining the Lobo-Guest network. More information available at Connecting to Lobo-Guest.
Your UNM NetID and Password are your keys to access many of UNM's online services, including myUNM and LoboMail, as well as on-campus computer systems.
- Users who have forgotten their NetID password and have established challenge questions can go to I Forgot My Password and follow password reset instructions
- Users who have not established challenge questions can call 505.277.5757 and select option 1 for help resetting their password
Students, faculty, and staff may be prompted to authenticate with a second factor (Azure MFA - a single, reliable MFA provider for all UNM) when accessing various systems. This entails verifying your identity not only with your NetID (*email address) and password, but also with a notification, one-time passcode, or text message.

UNM Valencia is part of the UNM Adobe Creative Campus licensing agreement. This provides Adobe Creative Cloud licenses at no cost for Students and Faculty and allows Staff to purchase a license for personal or departmental use for $20. Please visit UNM Adobe Creative Campus for more information.
UNM issued computers have Adobe Creative Cloud available for installation in the Software Center and Company Portal apps.
The UNM Valencia Library has stationary laptops that are available for printing. Users can send print jobs to Printer RICOH IM C4510, which is located near the circulation desk.
- UNM Students, Faculty and Staff can log in to the machines with their UNM email address and password.
- Users that don’t have a UNM email address and password can speak to the Library staff for help logging in.
UNMV computers have many commonly requested apps available for installation in the Company Portal app. This allows users to install available apps without having to contact IT.
- Search for Company Portal from the Windows search bar at the bottom of the screen
- Select Apps on the left side of the screen
- Select the app you want to download
- Press install
Users that need basic VPN access can install the UNM Global Protect client from the Company Portal and enter the VPN address unmvpn.unm.edu when prompted.
