Program Description
The Construction Technology Certificate program at UNM-Valencia Campus equips students with the skills and knowledge needed for a variety of entry-level positions in the construction industry. This hands-on program covers areas like carpentry, blueprint reading, and formwork, and is certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), ensuring high-quality instruction, standardized curriculum, and recognized certification.
Career and Educational Advancement Opportunities
The program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in the construction industry. Students also obtain NCCER and OSHA certifications along the way. This program does not transfer to a four-year degree.
