Peer Mentor Program

PMP Logo

The Peer Mentoring Program (PMP) administered through the FAO is to build social, cultural and academic communities for UNM-Valencia students to promote the improvement of academic success, persistence and successful graduation of students participating in the program. The role of a Peer Mentor (PM) is to provide support, encouragement, and information to incoming students as they learn to navigate the educational system. Each PM will have the opportunity to guide up to six students. The PM will serve as reliable resource to help guide mentees through the important first year at UNM-Valencia.
