Art Galleries

UNM Valencia is proud to have two art galleries on campus, in the Business and Technology Building. One space is dedicated solely to student work. The Fine Arts program falls under the Humanities Division, and gallery shows are organized by the Fine Arts Coordinator Sarah Heyward, MFA, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts. The Fine Arts Gallery is accepting artist submissions. We support individual artists and collaborative projects for solo or group exhibition. Please email your bio and a few images for consideration to Sarah Heyward, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts, at sheyward@unm.edu.

The hours of the galleries are:  

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

     *opening receptions typically occur at 4:30pm

Exhibitions for Fall 2021

Naomi Momoh (flora & fauna) -- October 1 through November 12, with opening reception on October 13 at 4:30.

Rebecca Martinez-Baca (Trash Honey) -- October 13 through November 12, with opening reception on October 13 at 4:30.

Samara Johnson (Bodyscapes) -- December 1 through January 14, with opening reception on December 1 at 4:30.

Student Exhibition (From the Ground UP) -- December 1 through December 17, with opening reception on December 1 at 4:30.
