Program Description
The certificate program in PC Operating Systems and Repair is 10 credit hours in length, and prepares students for an industry credentialing exam. This is a stackable certificate that helps students achieve a milestone along the way to a full Information Technology certificate and associate’s degree. (Short-Term Certificate)
Career and Educational Advancement Opportunities
This certificate prepares students for a career in computer hardware repair and operating systems.
On completion students will be able to provide basic PC support via Help Desk. Prepare student for A+ Hardware and Software Certification.

Course Prerequisites
Students must meet prerequisites by achievement of minimum placement scores on the ACCUPLACER or ACT or through completion of course work.
Course: ENGL 100 and FYEX 1110 or equivalent – or place into ENGL 1110 (ACCUPLACER/ACT minimum score of 263+/19+)
