Activity 1 -- Google Wars

1. Class divides into 2 groups.
2. Group 1 searches assigned topic using one of these database from El Portal.
   
   • Academic OneFile
   • Expanded Academic ASAP
   • General OneFile
3. Group 2 searches same assigned topic using Google or Advanced Google
4. Groups switch search tools and search new assigned topic.
5. Groups vote for preferred search tool-- be prepared to discuss.

Activity 2 -- Finding books

1. Each student finds the call number of book selected when entering Lab using LIBROS.
2. Each student finds a call number for a book on a subject of their own choice.
3. Each student goes to Library and find both books.
4. Each students show both books and the matching slips to Library staff.
