Activity 1 Identifying Quotations, Summaries, and Paraphrases

  1. Using the text on the right, identify the sentences in the Kahoot game as quotes, paraphrases or summaries.
  2. Go to Kahoot.it and enter classcode.
Rock-a-bye baby, on the treetops

Activity 2 Writing Your Own Summary or Paraphrase--Groups

  1. Divide into groups of 3.
  2. Open Word.
  3. Write either a summary or paraphrase of the text found on the right.
  4. Copy you text
  5. Open collabedit and sign in.
  6. Paste your text into the box.
