Activity 2 Group Sentence Order Exercise

  • Divide into groups of 3.
  • Put the sentences in order to form a conclusion
  • Tape strips to fo construction paper. 
  • Bring "construction paper poster" to front of  class share.

Activity 3 Writing a Conclusions

  1. Divide into pairs.
  2. Choose 5 sentences and 1 quote from the information provided to write a conclusion.
  3. Place sentences and quote in the order that you believe is best.
  4. Copy and past the quote and sentences you want in the order you want.
  5. Save the document (be sure to include all the groups names at the head of the Document
  6. Use LEARN Course Messages to send saved document to LeAnn Weller.
  7. Document is shared with the class.

  1. Choose 6 sentences and 1 quote from the information provided to write a conclusion.
  2. Place sentences in the order that you believe is best.
  3. Write a paragraph *3-4 sentences) describing why you chose those sentences and why you placed them in that order
  4. Post is due by Friday, October 6 at 11:59 AM.
  5. Discussion Board Comment--due by Sunday October 8 at 11:59 AM
  6. Choose a post with NO comment.
  7. Read the conclusion.
  8. Give 2 reasons why you believe the quote relates to the sentences or the quote doesn't relate to the sentences.
