Mission

The mission of UNM-Valencia Nursing program is to produce responsible, culturally competent and professional Registered Nurses. The nursing program adopts the mission statement of the college is "A quality education-a lifetime of success."

The UNM-Valencia ADN program will develop professional nurses with abilities to promote, restore, and maintain health for individuals, families and groups within our rural community. The nursing program adopts the campus core values:

Completion Rate

Between 80% and 100% of students complete the program within six semesters.

Employment

100% of graduates are employed in nursing within six months after passing the NCLEX-RN examination.

This nursing education program is a candidate for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
